Henrik Havelka is an audio engineer, music producer, and mixer with his own mixing and recording studio Havelka Audio in Berlin, Weissensee. He’s worked with Andrea Belfi, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Sam Slater, Ayumi Paul, Doug Weiss, Berlin Strings, Tobias Preisig, Shasta Ellenbogen, Uèle Lamore, Simon Goff & Katie Melua, Jean-Michel Blais, among others.

He spent several years working alongside Francesco Donadello at Vox-Ton studio in Berlin, working with artists like Ludovico Einaudi, Henrik Lindstrand, Echo Collective, Joey Baron, Robyn Schulkowsky, Christina Vantzou, Michael Harrison, Bryan Senti, Henrik Schwarz, Robert Lippok and A Winged Victory For The Sullen.

Born and raised in Zurich, with Swedish-Czech roots, Henrik studied music at Berklee in Boston, majoring in audio engineering & music production. He came to Berlin in 2018, drawn by this vibrant melting pot with all its synergies and determined to take root in the music world there. Since then he’s gathered most experience with orchestral recordings, chamber music, film music, ambient/experimental music, jazz.

His own musical background is everything groove-based, often jazz-influenced, from old-school hip hop to trip-hop, disco, basslines, house, garage.
